ZHENG, Wenbo    
Zheng Wenbo is an associate professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Tsinghua University.

Work Experience

Zheng Wenbo is a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Tsinghua University. She lectures on conference interpreting, English reading and critical thinking and translation in history. She holds an MA in simultaneous interpretation from Beijing Foreign Studies University and is currently doing her PhD in cognitive linguistics at Beijing Foreign Studies University. Since 2005, she has served as a simultaneous interpreter during the Seventh Asia-Europe Meeting, Beijing Olympic Games, Beijing Forum and the centennial celebration of Tsinghua University. In January 2012, she presented a keynote speech on the role of translators and interpreters in the changing world at CIUTI Forum held at the United Nations Office at Geneva. From 2012 to 2013, she worked as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant at the College of Wooster, United States.
