Each session, usually on Thursday night, invites gleaming campus celebrities to tell their own special stories.

For this week, the tradition goes on. Wen Chongyi, a member of Tsinghua voluntary teaching team for desolate areas in Western China, talked about her experience teaching in Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Region, Qinghai Province this summer. “Meeting beautiful people in a remotely beautiful places is an unforgettable memory for me.” She also articulated the project called Supporting Dream, demonstrating the working framework which includes a series of affiliated programs such as book donation and mentor guidelines in her well-organized power point and high-pitched English speech.

My mother, a stern high school teacher wouldn’t let me fiddle with my leisure time”, said she with a slight dissenting connotation. By displaying her long-worn fingers with callus in PPT, she continues, “ I am a member of Traditional Orchestra of Tsinghua because of my mom and the ever-lasting practices. Thanks to her.” Her speech ended with the a performance collaborated with her orchestra friends.
