The research in the Literature and Cognition Lab focuses on the issues of literary and narrative comprehension. The work draws on the theories and methodologies in literary studies, narratology, linguistics, psychology and cognitive science. The research integrates interdisciplinary theoretical frameworks with empirical investigation. Employing tools from psychology, cognitive neuroscience and computational modelling, the Lab aims to explore the mechanisms underlying the literary imagination in cross-cultural comprehension.
